Every legend has an origin story, and Michael’s begins with the Jackson 5. When Motown Records discovered the talents of five young brothers from Gary, Indiana, the music world was about to change. The year was 1970...a time of wild clothing, a society in the midst of upheaval, and soulful music that would live forever. The Jackson 5 helped to dissolve racial barriers, crossing over from a “charismatic black group” to one of the most successful mainstream pop bands of all time. MJ Evolution depicts their rise to fame, fueled by concert and television appearances that are faithfully recreated. You’ll be front and center when the Jackson 5 performs ‘Dancing Machine”, “ABC”, “I’ll Be There”, and Michael’s breakout solo hit “Ben...just the way it happened.
As the 70’s came to a close, Michael Jackson’s solo career was about to take off. Epic Records released OFF THE WALL on August 10th, 1979, and it quickly became one of the best-selling albums of all time. Backed by the skills of producer Quincy Jones, OFF THE WALL helped to usher in the advent of “music videos”, a new entertainment medium that highlighted Jackson's limitless visual appeal. “Rock With You”, “Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough”, “She’s Out of My Life” and the title track would all crack Billboard's Top 10 singles chart, positioning Jackson as the first artist ever to accomplish this with a single album.
In the late 80's and 90's Michael Jackson's music started a new form of production and self-expression
Best Michael Jackson tribute show I've seen! Much better than Cirque's MJ One and MJ Live! And at an affordable price point too! I believe tickets started at $54.99?
The show is super high energy and their dancers are fantastic! The show pays tribute to Michael Jackson's evolution as an artist from his beginnings with Jackson 5 through his solo years, playing all of his greatest hits in the process!
So glad they found a new venue and will be starting their residency in May 2023 at the Orleans Showroom! Can't wait to see it again!

Off the Wall
Jackson is credited with writing three of OFF THE WALL’s ten songs. Themes of liberation, loneliness, hedonism and romance permeate the album, and its groundbreaking fusion of funk, jazz, pop, and soft rock set the tone for a career that would appeal to multiple generations
The chorus contains one of the most misheard vocals ever. The line is: "Keep up with the force, don't stop. Don't stop 'til you get enough."
With Off the Wall, Jackson became the first solo artist to have four singles from the same album peak inside the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100
As the 70's draw to a close a whole new ear of Michael Jackson music is about to explode on the scene. in this act performing "You Got me Working Day and Night" Michael is joined on stage with his brother

"My God he they all look and moves like my brother" Jermaine Jackson
Music videos had now become a powerful artistic platform, and MJ once again broke down racial barriers at MTV, which until this point rarely featured artists of color. Jackson’s music videos for “Billie Jean”, “Beat It”, and his pioneering video featurette for the single “Thriller” helped to cement the network’s programming as a legitimate artform.
The long-form video for “Beat It” depicted a scenario in which rival gangs are brought together by music and dance. It was inducted into the Music Video Producers Hall of Fame, and the single received Grammys for “Best Male Rock Performance” and “Record of the Year”. Four decades later, “Beat It” continues to be played around the world. Its legacy is indisputable, much like the man who brought it alive. MJ The Evolution recreates the “Beat It” music video in all its glory right before your eyes.
Michael Jackson put his on twist on this song.
The album that changed the world and how we see and hear music. Thank you MTV.

They don't care about us is the song that Michael wrote against racism of African-Americans.He also states that The government doesn't do anything. He's basically saying that if Roosevelt and Martin Luther King were still living, racism might've been eliminated during his time which sadly it wasn't.
To summarize, ‘Black or White’ was an eye-opener for people all around the world as Michael used his platform carefully to spread the message of equality to the world. He effectively puts forward his opinion on racism, inequality, and its effects on people with the text of this song.

Jackson and his dancers are wearing suits and fedoras, the lyrics about the strange woman with a mouth smoother than oil were taken from Proverbs 5:3-5 in the Bible. The passage warns against allowing a seductive woman to lead you down the wrong path, which Jackson seems all too happy to do. "But I loved it," he sings of her touch, "'Cause it's dangerous."
"Dirty Diana" will capture the high-intensity & live experiences of one of MJ’s concerts, complete with a guitar solo from our amazing guitarist Christian Brady. Undoubtedly one of Michael's hottest songs of all time.
Jackson stated that the song was influenced by a real-life story he had read about, of a young man who tried to escape poverty by attending private school but ended up being killed when he returned home. In his book Moonwalk, Michael explains that Bad is about someone who is good, and that is what makes him Bad.
In times of grief and sorrow we often turn to music. Michael Jackson's cry to heal the world is recreated for the viewer to experience the hopes of love, peace and equality.
Michael Jackson's Inspirational Song "Man In The Mirror" the verse "I'm gonna make a change. For once in my life. It's gonna feel real good. Gonna make a difference. Gonna make it right".
